International business is a fascinating field, but a difficult one to get into. Whether you want to work abroad, work with different cultures, or even start your own business, you need to understand what it truly means to work internationally. More and more businesses are going global. Social and political issues now have global impact. Young professionals need these skills to stand out in our increasingly global world.

Participating in this project will allow you to follow and experience first-hand the steps that a company takes to enter a new market. You’ll meet with local professionals who have faced international expansion to hear their stories and insights. You’ll understand the challenges of expanding and doing business abroad. Through workshops and company visits, you’ll practice adapting products to a new market on your own. Most importantly, you’ll gain crucial contacts abroad to launch your career in international business from back home or even abroad!

PROGRAM FEE STRUCTURE

$3,600 is the main Program Fee (we have received funding so it has now decreased by $500, it's now $3,100):

 

  • This price includes the international flight.

  • Without flight, it would be $2,700. Accepted students will have the option to choose whether they want the flight or not when completing their registration on our website. Moreover, you have the option to extend your trip or fly to and from different cities.

  • A deposit of $400 is required once accepted to confirm your participation. This allows us to begin booking flights and hotels.

 

Payment Plans Available:
 

  • 4 Instalments: Dec 20, Jan 20, Feb 20, Mar 20 ($775 x4) 

  • 2 Instalments: Feb 1, Mar 1 ($1550 x2)

  • Customized payment plan based on the dates of your choice 

  • Applications accepted after Dec 20, option to design a customized payment plan or pay in 2/3 instalments.

NOTE FOR IBUS 471 STUDENTS
  • This trip is open to all JMSB students, however, if you are enrolled in IBUS 471 for the winter 2019 semester, you will have priority when applying for this trip.

  • IBUS 471 students may write their Term Paper on their experience on this trip.
