Cross Cultural Negotiation:
Anticipating the Unknown:

This is a simulation workshop where we will be using a tool from Harvard Business Review. The idea is for students to think on the spot and try to solve all different problems that one might encounter when initiating negotiations in a different country.  The workshop will be facilitated by a JMSB IBUS professor, who will be reviewing student’s results so that they can learn from their mistakes. This is meant to help students learn to anticipate and overcome any cultural difficulties, such as a language barrier or a difference in values.
